We had a wonderful game of Botcha with our residents here at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home last week.
There was lots of fun and laughter to be heard and Doris was our winner – everyone gave her a big round of applause. Congratulations Doris!
Our hydration trolley was a feast for the eyes and tastebuds too, as we served sangria as well as Appletizer. The sangria went down so well that some people had two!
We also had coconut and jam cakes on offer and most of our residents came back for seconds as they enjoyed Julie’s music playing on our blue tooth speaker.
Well done to Beryl who recently finished her crocheted place mat, with just a little help sewing it together. Beryl has some trouble with her hand, so making a craft item like this is such an achievement for her – doesn’t it look lovely!
On Tuesday 10 August we kept active by playing a wonderful game with balloons; we played keep ups, back and fourth and did multiple exercises for fun. With a nice cool drink afterwards!
