Last week at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home, we arrived in the Caribbean, passports at the ready!
We decorated our room with tropical fruits, flowers and flags, with Caribbean music on all floors to get our passengers in the mood.
During lunch we played steel drum music, stamped passports and gave out garlands. We served pina coladas and banana milkshakes, and our kitchen team prepared some amazing Caribbean food.
Alan really got into the swing of things; he had a flowery bra on which made everyone laugh!
We had our staff doing the limbo and all our residents cheered them on. Our younger team members were fantastic at it….some of us older ones couldn’t get so low, but we gave it our best shot!
Everyone said it was so much fun!
