On went the funky music here at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home on Friday 6 May, as we celebrated ‘Through the Decades – the 1970s‘ with our residents.
Everyone got a hippy headband to wear and some of our staff team dressed up for the day – they looked amazing in their colourful outfits which really made our ladies and gents laugh!
Our Kitchen prepared a delicious themed lunch which included prawn cocktail starters, followed by fish chips and gateaux for dessert.
Such a fun day and we enjoyed hearing stories of the 70s from some of our residents – a fantastic trip back in time was had by all!
