We had a lovely coffee morning with the Weekly Sparkle magazine this week at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home.
Our residents talked about Liberace, how flamboyant he was and how he played the piano. We discussed the ‘Dam Buster’ bombs that helped to slow down the Germans in World War 2, going on a steam train and also the first woman in space, Helen Sharman. We do like to mix it up!
We also discussed how some of us preferred blankets and others liked a duvet, not to mention how socks go missing when put in a washing machine! We agreed that the washing machine must eat them!! Â
