At our coffee morning this week at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home, we enjoyed lots of debates and fun!
We talked about William Holding and his famous novel ‘Lord of the Flies‘, stage and film actor Kenneth More and cricketer Learie Constantine.
Other discussion topics included The National Geographic, the telephone and how it has changed over the years, and fish and chips and how everyone enjoyed eating them!
Everyone had a good time and enjoyed socialising.
We also enjoyed a few quizzes including a puzzle of muddled words and a general knowledge one.
Later this week we’ve also tried a quiz themed around nursery rhymes and letters from A to J. Everyone did really well and we were impressed with so many correct answers!
