We had a full house for our popular coffee morning this week at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home and enjoyed lots of discussions on a range of subjects.
We talked about everything from how surgeons did hip replacements (as some of our residents have had the operation) to Russ Conway the piano player!
We chatted about the Kodak Box Brownie camera which a lot of our residents had in the past, plus memories of sitting in a shop and listening to records in a booth. There was a lot of debate about this as some of our ladies and gents said that they use to just listen to the records and not buy them, as it was just a fun way to spend time!
We enjoyed the Sparkle quizzes together as part of the morning too.
Another enjoyable shared session – when it was lovely to hear our residents reminisce.

Today we enjoyed a fantastic bingo day, with lots of participants. We played four games in total, with a good few winners!
