Our residents had an extremely busy Father’s Day at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home on Sunday 20 June.
First, all our gents received special gifts mugs, teddies and chocolate. They were all thrilled and said how kind it was to be remembered. It was so wonderful to see all their smiley faces.
Next, our ladies enjoyed a Zumba class in our middle lounge. They used pom-poms for their movements to Tina Turner music and said they really enjoyed it.
After lunch we hosted a bingo session, with 15 residents enjoying four fun games. There was then a cry of ‘More!‘, so we held another two games! We had lots of lovely new prizes on offer as our Recreation and Well-Being Champion Lynda had been shopping.
