Flower power
On Friday 28 April here at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home we enjoyed some fun flower arranging with our residents.
We had so many amazing blooms, we were able to make a door wreath, singing songs together as we got creative.
We sang ‘I’m a Pink Toothbrush, You’re a Blue Toothbrush’ and ‘You are my Sunshine’, spreading happiness through the building as everyone started to join in.
‘Smile, and the whole world smiles with you’ is an old saying and it was definitely fitting for the day!
Coronation treats
We’ve also had some fun making red, white and blue cakes for our coronation celebrations, chatting about the coronation, the queen’s jubilee in 1976 and how quickly time has gone.
We are getting excited about the crowning of King Charles on Saturday!
