Making bird feeders and a puzzle afternoon
On Thursday 15 July we made fat balls feeders for the birds in our garden at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home and everyone had so much fun mixing the ingredients and shaping them. The sun was out, so we enjoyed being outside.
To finish of the day we did a puzzle together in the afternoon. Everyone took turns to put pieces in, so it was a real joint effort!
Royal photos
Our ladies recently enjoyed an afternoon discussing the royal family; our ‘memory joggers‘ photo cards were great for sparking conversation and everyone joined in with their own memories of the royals and past royal occasions.
Saturday in the sun
And what a glorious weekend of fantastic weather we’ve had! We spent lots of time outside in our garden, where we gave out quiz packs and pens. Our residents discussed the questions between themselves and we served ice cold fresh orange under the cover of our umbrellas – sun cream and sun hats all around too!
On Saturday afternoon we hosted five games of bingo, with prizes for a line and bigger prizes for a full house.
A great time was had by all!
