Keeping hydrated
On Thursday 23 September we were excited to serve a choice of fruit cocktail punch or appletizer for our residents at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home.
It was a hot day and most of our residents enjoyed two drinks which went down very well and they all said they knew when refreshments were approaching as they could hear the 70s music playing!
Everyone loved our beer sunglasses as you can see! Our ladies and staff members had fun trying them on and enjoyed a good giggle. We have a large bag of funny sunglasses, so every week we’ll get a different pair out to make our residents laugh.
Bingo
We had a full house for bingo on Friday, with 15 residents in our lounge ready to play! John, Doreen, Marjorie and Joyce were all winners and were presented with prizes – small sweets for a line and a larger prize for a full house such as bubble bath, teddies, glasses cases and lots more!
Great fun!
