Delicious drinks
On Thursday 2 September we served refreshing fruit twist cocktails and ginger beer with lime for our residents at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home.
Our fruit twist creation was a particular favourite as it tasted like rhubarb and custard and our residents said it was delicious. The ginger beer had a real bite to it – sharp, but sweet and tasty!
As we delivered the drinks we played the song ‘I do like to be beside the seaside‘ which got everyone singing along to the music, with big smiles on their faces.
Nifty nails
Our lovely resident Beryl had her nails done last week and enjoyed chatting at length about her holidays as they were being painted.
She was very pleased with the finished result!
