Fantastic fun
What a fantastic day we had for Halloween this year at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home!
We dressed the dining room fit for a spooky Halloween feast, complete with a scary Hydration Trolley. Our ladies and gents chose from ‘blood and guts’ ginger beer and red lemonade.
Everyone wore Halloween themed hats or devils’ horns – it was a good laugh everyone said how lovely the decorations looked.
Bowls and skittles
It wouldn’t be Halloween at Silverpoint Court without a game of scary bowls!
Our residents competed to see who could get their bowls closest to the black cat; they thought this was great fun and they all did extremely well.
Then a little later after a nice cup of tea, we enjoyed a game of skittles. Our ladies and gents said how they had enjoyed everything and thanked everyone for a day they will never forget – it was very emotional.
Bingo
It was a full house for bingo on Sunday, with lots of winners and lovely prizes. Well done Caroline, Jean, Alan, Doris, Doreen and Beryl – who also offered to be the bingo caller! Thank you for your help Beryl.
Nail pampering
On Monday 1 November Caroline and Beryl enjoyed a pampering hand massage and manicure. Don’t they look lovely!
