Thursday 30 September was our lovely Joan’s 97th birthday here at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home.
Flowers and gifts were sent from her family and we gave her a special birthday card from everyone at our Home.
At lunchtime we sang ‘Happy birthday‘ whilst presenting her with a delicious chocolate celebration cake – as Joan loves chocolate!
We all enjoyed making a fuss of her and it was very emotional as she cried with happiness!
