Mother’s Day
On Sunday 14 March we enjoyed celebrating Mother’s Day at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home. We presented all our lovely mums with a little teddy bear and laid special ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ placements on our tables.
We also came together to enjoy a beautiful music concert by The Bel Canto Sopranos, which included video messages from family members. This really made the day special, with smiles all around.
Quiz and Bingo Fun
Last week we also had fun with a Quiz from The Daily Sparkle magazine. Each of our residents received a clip board and 2 pages of sparkle questions to answer – everyone is very competitive!
In the afternoon we enjoyed music, jokes and a fun-filled Bingo session some with brilliant prizes!
Reminiscence
This week our residents have enjoyed word games and reminiscence; remembering films, actors and actresses from bygone years, which has been great fun.
It’s been lovely to see so many happy faces!
