We’ve been keeping busy with some lovely recent activities here at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home.
Pampering
On Thursday 4 August, Beryl enjoyed having her nails done by Julie and they had a lovely chat with lots of laughing. Beryl also sorted out Julie’s nail box for her and said it felt nice to be useful and feel needed, which was very special.
Delicious food
Our wonderful Kitchen team recently made some amazing prawn noodles and savoury mince for our residents, who said they enjoyed every mouthful – with clean plates all round!
Sing, dance and crafts
We had a sing and a dance together on Friday 5 August and we’ve also been trying out some stencils to create pictures with, which our ladies really enjoyed.
Family visit
Family members came to visit our resident Malcolm, all the way from Australia, which was such a lovely occasion. We served refreshments and snacks for them all and it was fantastic to see lots of laughter and smiles.
