Remembrance
On Tuesday 22 November, our residents came together at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home for some 1940s music in honour of Remembrance Day.
Our celebrations were a little late, as the lovely singer our residents wanted, Cheryl King, was booked up – so we moved her entertainment along on the calendar!
No one minded and it was just as beautiful as we all had a singalong and dance to lots of old time songs.
Our lovely Marjorie enjoyed singing along to the music and Julie from our Recreation and Well-Being Team commented: “This is the first time I have ever seen this and I have been at Silverpoint Court for six years. It was such an emotional afternoon and something I will never forget.”
Bingo fun
On Wednesday we enjoyed playing bingo together. There were lots of smiles and also lots of concentration as the numbers were called.
Our winners were John, June and Joyce – congratulations to them!
