Salt dough pots and flower arranging at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home

Salt dough pottery

On Monday 26 July we made salt dough pots with our residents at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home and everyone really enjoyed working with the dough and creating their own little pieces of art – very therapeutic!

Afterwards we sat and played with our conversation cards which was interesting and we learnt a lot about each other. It was lots of fun listening to one another’s life stories and there were lots of laughs.

Flower arranging

When Lynda from our Recreation and Well-Being Team spent time on interactiveMe with Dorothy recently, they spoke about flower arranging, so Lynda brought in some fresh flowers and oasis and Dorothy had an enjoyable afternoon creating a beautiful pink and white arrangement.

Move it or lose it!

Look at our ladies go! They are full of energy and we are so proud of them! We had such good fun yesterday during the exercise session, with laughter all around and everyone saying they had had a really good time.

And well done to Ron for filling up our bird feeder ready to go in the garden. We know our feathered friends will be thanking you!
