Last week, we had lots of help from our residents at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home, with sorting photos and preparing cards.
Ivy got involved with folding all our Valentine’s Day cards ready for 14 February; she chatted and had a giggle while we keeping busy with the preparations.
We also had a lot of help putting photos of our residents in folders, so we can show visitors to our Home all the different activities and fun and games we get up to!
Our lovely ladies helped to put our entertainment pictures into folders and we had a long chat and lots of laughs remembering all the wonderful things we have done – with lots of good times to come!
Jean also prepared a beautiful flower arrangement to go in our Reception.
Belinda from our Recreation and Well-Being Team had a great idea of making ‘grab bags‘ containing pens, pencils, paper for drawing and also lots of blank crosswords, word searches and quiz sheets for everyone to enjoy when the mood takes them. She also popped packs of playing cards in the bags and is keen to source other interesting items that can be included.
