Happy birthday
Last week at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home, we had double the celebrations as we marked two special birthdays – Carol’s on Monday 6 October and Rita’s on Friday 10 October. Both ladies enjoyed a delicious celebration cake, a birthday card signed by all our team members, and of course a joyful rendition of ‘Happy birthday’!
It was wonderful to share such happy moments together – many happy returns, ladies!
All about eggs!
We joined in the fun of World Egg Day with a morning of creative egg painting using bright, colourful paint pens. Our decorated hard-boiled eggs were then put to good use in the afternoon for some classic games – the egg and spoon race proved especially popular!
Halloween preparations
We’ve also started getting into the Halloween spirit here at Silverpoint Court. With the help of our resident Alan and a few of our lovely ladies, we’ve been busy decorating our dining room and conservatory with a spooky seasonal makeover. A big thank you to everyone who lent a hand – the decorations look fantastic!
Our ladies and gents have also been getting creative, making pumpkins out of tissue paper and straws. John, Rose and Margaret all joined in the fun. We love our colourful pumpkin pals!
