On Tuesday 15 August we had a visit from our friends from St Nicholas Church here at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home.
We took advantage of the lovely sunny weather and had a shared service out in our garden. Our residents joined in with the hymns and put their requests in. We also had some family members singing along too.
Everyone enjoyed the refreshments of cold drinks and ice lollies.
After the service, some of our residents remained in the garden where we chatted together about growing up during the war, evacuation and rations…before moving on to fashions of the past.
What a lovely afternoon!
