We had great fun last week here at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home when we hosted our very own Hawaiian Day – and wow, it was such a stunning day we could have actually been in Hawaii!
Our residents thoroughly enjoyed our guest singer who not only had an amazing voice, but was very charismatic with our ladies and gents.
We had musical instruments out to join in with the music and Pete George the guitarist and singer let Julie from our Recreation and Well-Being Team have a little go and she played a few tunes.
As it was such a warm day, hydration was top of our list, with hats, shade and sun-cream in abundance to keep everyone comfortable.
We had a fantastic day we had! Everyone dressed up and thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors together.
Julie commented: “I was told that I make such a difference and make life worth living by our gents today and I was quite overwhelmed. It was so wonderful to see everyone having such a good time.”
