At Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home on Friday 11 June our Silverpoint Cruise Liner finally docked in France after battling the high seas!
We were all delighted to experience the sights of ‘Gay Paris‘! We marvelled at the magnificent Eiffel Tower and enjoyed a trip along the river Seine. We took in Notre-Dame by day and night, then on to the Moulin Rouge – ooh la la!
We sampled the delights of French cuisine while sitting outside in our bistros, with the greenery of grapevines, and crusty bread and cheese, followed by a lovely red.
Our residents had fun bowling during the morning and everyone did very well.
Just enough time to see the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, before we headed back to our boat for dinner.
Onwards to the Caribbean next month – we can’t wait!
