Tin can alley
Sixteen of our residents at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home enjoyed playing tin can alley last week. Many played in a group in our lounge, whilst some of our ladies and gents in their rooms participated too.
We reminisced about playing the game at fairgrounds – winning coconuts and goldfish! Lots of fun and smiles.
Pub games morning
On Friday 7 July we had fun playing on our air hockey table, our table football, mini skittles and ‘Tumbling tower’ too. These games are very good for our residents’ movement and hand-eye coordination, keeping them fit and their brains tracking where the ball or disc is going.
After the games, we asked if anyone would like to help with napkin folding and everyone joined in to help. It was a busy morning!
Gone fishing…
Our resident Jean won our fishing game ten times! Our other residents were laughing, as it all got a bit fishy! Ha!
