Birthday wishes
Alan turned 89 on Thursday 28 October at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home.
We gave him his cards from family and friends, as well as our card from everyone at Silverpoint Court, and we all sang ‘Happy birthday‘ to him.
Alan loves chocolate, so his birthday cake was chocolate with chocolate and more chocolate!!
He said it was a wonderful day to remember.

Coffee afternoon
Last week we served posh coffees at our coffee afternoon, and everyone enjoyed The Daily Sparkle, with themed music to sing along to.
Some of our residents wanted to read out loud from The Sparkle and we encouraged and thanked them. At the end of the session, everyone clapped and said they had loved it.
We also sang ‘Happy birthday‘ to Alan again and at the end we sang ‘Land of Hope and Glory‘ …we sang the roof off!
It was an invigorating day!
