On Thursday 14 September a group of our Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home residents joined in with an aqua painting session which they found very engaging.
It took quite a bit of concentration, as some residents did not want to go over the edges! They enjoyed seeing the hidden pictures start to reveal themselves as they added water with brushes – fish, butterflies, trains, motorbikes and even knitting needles and balls of wool appeared. Great fun!
It was lovely to see some new faces participating; well done to Jerry, Ron, Carol, Ella, Jean and Ivy for their creativity.
We also enjoyed rock ‘n roll music during the afternoon with some great singalongs.
