On Friday 14 October we got busy making some pink ribbons at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home, all ready for Breast Cancer Awareness ‘Wear It Pink‘ Day on Friday 21 October.
One of our ladies was kind enough to cut up the ribbon, so we can make ribbon pins for everyone to wear.
We have made a poster to promote the day and have also set a fundraiser online to hopefully raise lots of money for this very worthy cause.
The fundraising box we have put in our Home has already started filling up with money and we will be making cakes this week too. We will also have lots of fun games to play which we are looking forward to.
