On Monday 10 May, our residents Sylvia Leah and Dorothy enjoyed a game of pontoon (‘stick or twist’) in the afternoon here at Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home.
We used cubex cubes which have six playing cards inside each, so they can be rolled like dice and their numbers counted. Great fun!
Later Lily helped Recreation and Well-Being Champion Lynda put historical black and white photographs of London up in a large frame by our lift.
Lily really enjoys learning about the history of London – the markets, Great Ormond Street, the Krays and the East End during the war.
The display makes a great focal point for conversation.
